When you were building your house, you perhaps thought that temperatures inside would always be nice. And it wasn’t until later that you found out that this isn’t always the case. You’re not the only one who has gone through this experience. A lot of people ask us how they can avoid their house from overheating. If we see that screens hadn’t been catered for during the building process, we recommend installing surface-mounted screens. These are installed against the façade of the house and do not require extensive work.
Surface-mounted screens are more and more often installed in the reveal against the window profile. They are so discreet that the boxes are barely noticeable. Of course, if you prefer, we can also mount surface-mounted screens against the façade above the window.
Surface-mounted screen boxes come in three shapes: chamfered, round or square. Only the very biggest screens can only have a chamfered box. The finishing options are in all cases limitless. You can opt for a screen of your choice. The box, the guide-rails and the bottom lath can be painted in the colour of your choice.
