Each unit mechanically extracts indoor air and brings fresh outdoor air inside. Thanks to the heat exchanger, that air enters at the right temperature straight away. This gives you healthy indoor air at all times without losing energy. Because each room has its own unit, you decide where and how much you want to ventilate.
Yes. In addition to window ventilation, Airria® technology is also available for wall ventilation. This is a decentralised type D ventilation system with mechanical air supply and extraction per room, with heat recovery (HRV). The system is installed on the wall, allowing you to ventilate without replacing your windows and without extensive ductwork.
Decentralised window ventilation is suitable for renovation projects, and that is in fact Airria®’s biggest advantage. In renovation projects, there is often no space or budget for extensive ductwork. With window ventilation, you can ventilate room by room, exactly when you replace your windows or renovate part of your home.
Airria®’s heat exchanger recovers up to 75% of the energy from the extracted air. In winter, this means retaining warmth without extra heating. In summer, you can do the opposite and let in cool outdoor air at night for natural cooling. The result is a comfortable indoor climate with a lower energy bill.
A ventilation grille is a passive inlet opening for outdoor air. Window ventilation works mechanically, with both supply and extraction per room, and falls under system D. With heat recovery, part of the heat from the extracted air is recovered, which limits heat loss.
Wilms’ Airria® technology is specially designed to operate whisper-quiet. At just 34 dB(A) in standard mode, you will hardly notice the unit is running. In addition, each unit operates completely independently, so there is no sound transfer between rooms.
The system automatically indicates when the filters need to be replaced. There is no need to call a technician: you can easily remove and replace the filters yourself. Use a handheld vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth to clean the filter openings. Within minutes, your unit is ready to supply fresh air again.
