The benefit of surface mounted roller shutters is that they can be installed at any time. Quick, easy and even without any demolition work. This type of roller shutter is suitable for new construction and renovation alike.

When it comes to newly constructed homes, built-on roller shutters are no particularly popular. Aesthetics play an important part with this type of project and in that regard built-in roller shutters are king. After all, a built-on roller shutter is always visible from the outside. This is not necessarily a disadvantage because of the wide range of finishing options.

Custom finish

Built-on roller shutters are usually installed against the facade. They can also be placed in the window opening but this does cover up part of the window which limits the incidence of light.

Our built-on roller shutters come with 2 box shapes: sloped and round. If you opt for a round box, matching round attachments are available to be placed over the guide rails. And as a finishing touch, the box, bottom rail and guide rails can be coated in a RAL colour of your choice. This will make for a nice and consistent composition.
